dust-jacketThanks for stopping by my site. If you have a question or thought about any of my posts, you can leave a comment directly underneath it. But here’s a warning. Some folks find “captcha codes” difficult to use. The big issue is this – it can be hard to visually separate the number “1” from the letter “l”. Look closely and you’ll figure it out.

You can also offer a comment, or question, by dropping me an e-mail at ed@edmitchelloutdoors.com.  Since my address is a “.com”, your browser’s email filter may kick my reply into your Spam folder.  So check, if you’re expecting to hear from me.

We are going to Alaska to fish in August and Chip Bates gave us your name for a little refresher course on fly fishing. We live in Lyme, Jeb works all week in Essex. Not sure where you are.

      Hi Dianne,

As I mentioned to Chip, I relocated to Florida and will not be back north in the foreseeable future. So I think I better pass. Sorry for the confusion.

    Ed,

Will miss you. Had a great class with you. Please keep blogging – your photography is moving.

Picked up a C-H 444 press for $25 with dies for 38 and 45 calibers. I did a Cerrosafe casting of my Mauser Sporter from North Cove to be sure of its caliber, as they said it was 8 mm but it seemed smaller. Turns out it’s a standard 30-06 and I have dies on order with CH-4D.

You’ll always have a guest room with Linda and I.

    Best Regards,
    Rob

    Hi Ed,
look’s like your adjusting to that horrible southern fishing ok. Ct’s loss is Fl’s gain. The book is starting to take off over 300 copys sold so far the reviws have been great, it looks like we have a winner. Your help was indispensable! Thank you.

      Hey Sherwood,

Sounds like book is doing very well, but then again I figured it would. You did a nice job! Yeah this southern fishing is horrible. Too many fish, too little time.

      Hey Mark,
Nice to hear from you! Congrats on your marriage, man. Off Mile Creek? Sweet stuff. Makes beacoup sense to me. Yeah, missing you guys as well. Often thinking about my days on the New England coast. Great people, great times, great memories. Honestly, if the striper bite had remained strong, I would have never gone south. Life is complex at times.
