← Shakespeare Wondereel 1898 EC – A Vintage Saltwater Fly Reel
Heavy duty construction is obvious
Are parts available for this reel?
Something broke? Wow I’m amazed, that thing is a tank! I doubt you can find parts. Look to buy a spare reel and salvage parts from it.
You will be happy to know that the tank didn’t break, it is just missing the drag adjustment knob and the green washer. Any ideas?
Well that is good news. I’d be doing trip to Home Depot. Bring the reel and look through the nut and bolt section to see if you can find a workable solution. If not, see if you have a store in your area that specializes in just nuts, bolts, and fasteners. And try to find stainless adjustment wing nut if possible.
