Had a nice trip up north. Fished a day with my son and saw some friends. Enjoyed it. Now its time to get back to the Florida flats. Great conditions today, light southeast winds, very little rain on the way. Found two redfish right off, on a flooding tide. Caught the first one on the 6-weight. The second on the 8-weight. Neither red was very large, but both were fun.

After that came a mix of snook, trout and jacks. Good day on the water. Kept an eye out for tarpon, but didn’t see any. Wish I had.
